THE LUCK FACTOR

I conducted a study one time on the luck factor. Luck cannot come your way if you don’t go for it. In other words, you need to do something to be lucky. You will never win the lottery if you don’t buy a ticket. You can’t drain a slot machine if you don’t insert your coins. You need to invite the queen of misery into your life before she will shine on you. Most of the times, she will leave you dry. However, there is an art to luck. There is an art to being lucky. You must know when to go for it. You must know when to smash a cluster of balls if you hope to slop a ball in and get a shot on your next ball.

Good players complain about the lack of luck. That is because they never go for it. Past experience has shown them some bad luck so they hold back when the opportunity comes along. For instance, they once sent a cluster in every direction, pocketed a ball, and left themselves safe on the next shot. They perceived that going for luck brings its own brand of punishment and thus, they formed a mental state about luck from that perception. So they hold back when they are presented with another opportunity. Even when they go for it, they do it with reservations and the mistress of good fortune wants a total commitment before she will shine on you.

Safety play is over rated. I played a good safe and my opponent played a better one right back at me. I am not getting ball in hand like I use to because people have my tapes. Players today know how to kick balls. They know how to jump. Now, I am going for it. Time to get lucky.

Let loose, fire away, leap in and get lucky. “Do you feel lucky today?” Feel it and go for it. Five balls on the move will result in one ball falling into the pocket more often than not. You are still at the table. In most cases, if you feel lucky, you will see the next shot and run out. OR, you can try your luck again. It worked the first time. And it was fun. Fire away. Lock and load and run the cue ball into another cluster. You’ll make a ball, make your opponent sick and run out. There is no greater thrill than getting lucky.

I once played a gentleman in Wisconsin who ran seven racks on me. In six racks he fired away at a cluster of balls and got lucky. I would have played safe each of those times. I sometimes wonder why I don't run as many racks as I did when I was a reckless player.

I have been playing this silly game of nine ball for a long time. Now, with my skills, if I can ad luck to the mix I may be able to do something with my life. The next time we play I am going to splatter balls in every direction and run the table. When I come to the table I am looking to run out.

Charm lady luck with your reckless passion and I will see you in the finals.

A stroke trainer that comes with a complete money back guarantee

I have been working with a gentleman who has completed The Masters of Art in Pocket Billiards course. At this time he turned in the best numbers of anyone. Ekkes has invented the Ultimate Billiards Coach which will help you groove your stroke. When I used it I was amazed by how much this helped my game. In fact, I formed a partnership with Ekkes, work a little more to perfect the device and now, we offer it to you with a complete money back guarantee. That is right, use the Ultimate Billiards Coach and if it does not improve your game, I will refund your money. I can assure you, you will not give me this device back.

Ekkes is a world class player from Germany. When I used the UBC I increased the quality of my performance dramatically. On the long cross corner stop shots I generally had one or two missed shots per ten. With the UBC attached to my shooting arm, I shot thirty seven of them dead into the pocket. I use this every day on all my exercises and have a smile on my face each time the ball splits the pocket.

You can order one from me. The cost of the UBC and a new game is just $49.95. I will have a supply with me at the Super Billiards Expo. If you are interested in getting a UBC email me at monkbilliardacademy@yahoo.com and I will send you a buy now button. Once you place your order, I will ship it out right away with my letter of guarantee.
